A Place for Truth states that it is “Dedicated to Reformed Theology, Biblical Studies and Christian History since 1996.” And so it is. The site is the product o Charles R. Biggs, pastor of Ketoctin Covenant Presbyterian Church in Purcellville, VA, and Scott J. Simmons, Assistant Pastor at Chapelgate Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Marriottsville, MD. Here you can find has The Cambridge Declaration and The Westminster Confession of Faith, Essays, Studies, Sermons, and other resources. The essays, downloadable Microsoft Word files, are well-written and well-reasoned and cover a wide range of subjects. Some of the titles include “John Dewey and the Education of the American People,” “‘Do This In Remembrance of Me’: The Importance of the Lords Supper Frequently Observed,” and “Epistemology According to Michael Polanyi, Cornelius Van Til and John Calvin.” Don’t be scared, read and learn! The studies and sermons are of similar quality. Word of Encouragement is a weekly email Bible study. Read the sample and you’ll see it is a real study, not just a re-hash of familiar verses. The resources include web sites as well as book recommendations for books that should be in every Christian’s library. The site works well and is easy to use. This is a site with an exceptionally high level of quality content and is well worth your time. You can contact A Place for Truth at crbiggsman@adelphia.net.
