Alkaline Research : Food That Helps Obsessive Behavior

Built by Teresita C. Tayanes on Saturday, January 10th, 2009

If you have a problem such as compulsive eating, smoking or drinking too much alcohol, you will be particularly interested to learn of this interesting alkaline-acid balance of food research. It says : When carbohydrates in the alkaline family form about sixty per cent of your daily food intake, all obsessive eating and drinking habits improve – and you are more likely to give up smoking.

Many research groups have now reported that anyone who switches over from high-protein animal fat laden food to more wholegrains, fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts and seeds can expect the most tremendous boost in health and energy.

Top researchers Professor Stanley Schachter of the U.S.A. and Dr. Are Waerland of Sweden have found that the alkaline content in fresh fruits and vegetables and some select grains have a definite effect on the neurological system, producing a ‘quieting down’ of the urge to smoke or eat and drink too much.
