American Honda Sales hit record levels

Built by Reg Stevens on Monday, December 10th, 2007

October is the month of champions, and American Honda is no exception. The American Honda Motor Company Incorporated posted record revenues in the month of October by hitting Sales volume of over 114,000 units (vehicles). This is about 5,000 units more than the previous record set in October 2005. It seems October is a pretty good month for Honda, especially this year as all things seem to have fallen into line.

Units in the northern states where up substaintally and one could speculate this is from the recent iflux of Canadian vehicle shoppers in the United States. With the Canadian dollar at its highest level in over 50 years, Canadians have been able to catch a real bargain on US vehicles and Honda is no exception.

Some Canadian vehicle purchasers have claimed to save as much as 10,000 to 15,000 dollars on a single vehicle transaction. This could amount to savings of up to 45% of the price of a new vehicle. That is a pretty substantial figure and leads us to conclude there is some real price disparity between two countries that sit side by side.
