Ask a Girl Out on a Date
Let’s face it, it might seem like a daunting task to ask the girl you like out on a date. Gathering the courage to walk up to her and ask if she’d like to join you for something. Well have no fear because after reading this how-to guide to asking a girl out, you’ll be a pro. Of course I would recommend you practice asking your mom or sister out for example, to make sure you don’t goof when you ask the girl you really like to go out with you.
The first thing you need to do is figure out what you want to ask the girl out for. Do you want to take her out to the movies, to a restaurant for some of her favorite food (you’ll need to find out what that is before you take her to some spicy food place that will give her indigestion!), to a skating rink, a school dance, a party at a friends’ place, and the list goes on.
Once you know where you want to ask her to go, consider your choice again: will be enjoy watching a live football game with you, while you’re shouting beside her about a referee’s decision? If you think she will be happy to join you for a romantic dinner by candlelight, then great. The reason this is so important is that she might actually want to go out with you, but she might just not be interested in the activity you chose to inviting her to. If she rejects you, you might never have the guts to ask her out again, so don’t make a silly mistake like this one.
Next you need to practice asking her out. This is a very important technique that will really help you to keep your cool when you go up to the girl of your dreams and ask her to join you for a date. Think of what she looks like, how pretty she is, how nice it will be when she says yes to proposition. Whatever you do, don’t think of what might happen if she says no! Just go over how you’re going to ask her out, what you will say, how she will reply and remember to smile. Smiling is something that can be shared between people and it greatly increases the bonds between friends or even strangers. Now that you’ve pictured yourself successfully asking your new girlfriend out, practice out loud. I don’t care if this is embarrassing, if you really want to make sure this girl respects you and says yes to your question, then you need to practice asking her out.
You can ask your mom or sisters to practice with you. She might be able to give you some pointers as to what you should be doing, maybe you shouldn’t fidget with your hands in your pockets and try not to stutter. Once you have some feedback you should go back to practicing a bit more. After you know exactly what you’re going to say and you’ve anticipated what the girl of your dreams will say back to you (make sure she says yes in your fantasies!), then it’s time to prepare a real plan. Find out where she hangs out, when she has free time and when would be the best time for you to ask her out. Now just execute the visual movie you had in your mind, and things will go smoothly.
Remember that she might not actually respond exactly like you had imaged, be prepared for that. Just go with the flow, and be ready to smile widely when she says yes. Now you can ask your new date what she would prefer to do, and if the time of your choice works well for her. That’s it! Once you have practiced enough times, the courage will come naturally and you’ll be asking your girl out in no time. Be sure to treat your new lady friend well, because she didn’t accept to go on a date with you for no reason!

I have a question for anyone that can help. I am good on giving advice but my problem is hard to deal with. You might have a solution or at least an opinion for me. I am dating the woman and we have been dating for 2 months. I love her with everything i have and will do anything for her. She has 1 kid and one on the way. I am in the Air Force and stationed in Germany. She lives back in the states. She has an ex but nothing will ever be between them two. She will never be with her ex again and she has told me that and i truly believe it. He is only there for the kid and while she is pregnant because she is about due soon. We both have strong feelings for each other and want to marry. I know it has been 2 months but love can grow in different ways. Sometimes people take forever to love and sometimes it doesn’t take as long. She wants to break up with me so that she doesn’t have to deal with the drama with him. She doesn’t think it is fair for me to have to deal with him cause she thinks i deserve someone that isn’t in the situation that she is in. I told her i would do anything for her and deal with the drama as long as i have to. She knows i will do anything for her. If she could marry me now she would. I am going home in a couple of months and i will see her probably if we are still together. She lives in a different state than i do but it is only 2 states away. In about a year and a couple of months i will be stationed back in the states and be closer to her. Most likely we will get married if we are still together then.. I don’t know what to do! I want to stay with her and she wants to leave me. I love her and don’t really know what i would do without her. I don’t know if you have any advice or not but if you do please let me know. Yes i just meet a girl this Saturday night at this country club. I was dating someone which was long distance in the states. I could tell that we would not last and we broke up today; a day after i meet this other girl. Anyway this girl i meet last night is in the military and she just got stationed here like 3 weeks ago. She has a daughter that is 3. I’m also in the military. A friend of mine works with her and invited her out so she road with us to the club. We hung out at the club and I could tell she was interested in me just by the way we danced together, the way her beautiful eyes looked into mine, and also the way she smiled and asked me “what?” when i smiled back at her. Also, after some dances we held hands walking off the dance floor but not for to long. A Cowboy has a rule with his cowboy hat. If a woman takes a cowboy hat off his head and puts it on hers then she is going home with that cowboy and doing the u know what. She took my “baseball” hat off my head and i told her that it wasn’t a cowboy hat and she said it means the same and put it on her head. She took it off her head and placed it on mine and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I had a sense of humor that night and I could tell i made a good first impression. We danced like 7 times. She saids that she is old fashion so i had to ask her. She was trying to at least be home at 2 am cause of the babysitter, but we stayed out till they closed which was around 4ish. As we where taking her back I asked her if she had a phone number. She said she does but she doesn’t know it. My friend said that she has both of our numbers and the girl i was interested in said “oh goodie”. As she was getting out of the car she gave me a hung and thanked me “for all of the dances”. I told her “it was nice to meet you and take care.” My female friend that works with her walked her to her apartment to get the babysitter so we could take him home. When my friend got to the car she said that i made a real good first impression on her.

It didn’t work and I called my friend to tell her. She said she would try to call and she did. She called me back and told me that it worked and i might just need to change the first couple of numbers and that the girl that i was interested in is eating dinner with her child so i need to wait a while to call. I waited an hour after i changed the number and tried to call and she didn’t answer. I sent her a text and asked her how she was doing. I toke an hour nap and woke up and called her again. I revied the comments and concerns individuals have posted on this site. The real deal is that women seem to have this dominate power over men. I find this idea to be inherently in all men. My advice is the instead of focussing on the rejection that may occur if you ask the women out think positive. EG, Your main goal is to ask the women out and you “want” her to say NO if you can build that ideal in your mind you will automatically become comfortable around the opposite sex.

Alright well I feel kinda dumb saying this. Im 18 and have never went out with a girl let alone dated a girl. I can go up to any girl in the world and start a converstion with. I start a conversation with any girl. So I know Im not shy at all.

jake…. you can still be friends with the 6th grader, just try being nice to her and she will probably ask you out and when she does tell her you dont like her in that way. And as for you, just calm down, every guy I ever knew even me has had problems getting girls… it’s a guy’s nature and it happens to all guys. Try taking it slow and taking deep breaths and put it in your head that “i know i wont screw up, I can do this”
