Belize, is an often misunderstood and unknown country. Many people hear the term Belize and think of tropical paradise, but Belize is much more than that. The country is positioned on the eastern side of central America and lies on the base of the gulf of Mexico. Belize shares its borders with Mexico, Guatamala and Honduras. Of its neighbouring countries Belize seems to be the strongest in terms of GDP growth over the past decade.

Belize has the world’s second largest barrier reef beside Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. It is an amazing spot for divers and snorkellings as well as treasure hunters. In the southern and western regions of Belize hundreds of mountains await eco travellers and those up for a good climb.
