Heather Locklear has signature locks. Her long layered hair style always looks perfect, with every layer in place. How does she do it?

To capture the Heather Locklear hair style, you will need a long layered, medium length hair cut that features long, side-swept bangs and face framing layers.

Keep in mind that layers will always require a little extra work to style. Sometimes you may have to use extra hair care products to keep the layers in place. Longer layers are a little easier to take care of than shorter layers since they have a little added weight to keep them more in control.

To get your hair to look like Heather’s, you will need to start by blow-drying your hair using a paddle brush. Direct all layers down and slightly under. Finish up the style by running a flat iron throughout the hair. To create extra volume in the crown area, set the hair in large velcro rollers and blast with the blow dryer.

Follow with a shine spray or hair spray to added extra shine and hold power.
