Can the New England Patriots Go 16 – 0?

Built by Ryan Horne on Monday, October 29th, 2007

Well another Sunday of football has passed and the Patriot’s do it again. They move to 8 – 0 now with there 52 – 7 romp over the Washington Redskins. Coming in to this week some people were talking upset with the Redskins pulling out a win with there seemingly tough Defense. Boy were these people wrong!

Coming up on what is sure to be the biggest game of the NFL season between the last two undefeated teams in the league, the question that runs through my head is can the Pat’s keep this pace up? There schedule is definately getting a little tougher starting next week versus the 7 – 0 Indianapolis Colts. But does it matter?

With the addition of some new weapons on offense including Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and Dante Stallworth, Tom Brady is better than ever. On pace now to throw 64 touchdowns this season, Brady has led his team to over 400 offensive yards every game this year. With solid and consistant numbers like that I’m not sure any team in the National Football League can stop them.

Not to mention the defense! With additions this offseason like Adalius Thomas from the Baltimore Ravens and now getting back Richard Seymor off the DL, there D is just getting started. Wiith all kinds of talent and leadership on both sides of the ball this Patriots team could just possibly go down as one of, if not the, best team’s in the history of the NFL.

So the question is can they go undefeated at 16-0 and set the all time record for wins in a single season? Well there is still a lot of season left yet, but one thing is for sure, I am going to have a lot of fun watching them try.

Let me know what you think. Leave your comments today.
