Be prepared for a brand new resort! Hurricane Wilma tried to blow it away completely, and she almost did but the new Cancun Palace Resort is getting ready for its grand reopening at the middle to end of January.

The artists renditions for this resort look wonderful. The rooms are bright and cheery and the ocean front views are amazing. The hotel is more upscale then ever before and is trying to shed it’s past image of being one of the wilder hotels in Cancun during Spring Break. You will still see Spring Breakers around but according to their statistics the spring break crowd, although loud and enthusiastic at times only makes up 5% of the tourists.

That is good news for those who like to travel during Spring Break time which is typically the middle of March. With that being said, you will find summer breakers in the summer and college breakers in the summer as well. But Cancun Palace Resort is one of the more upscale resorts and therefore it costs a bit more to stay there. That means that not all of the spring breakers will be able to afford the new prices.
