I just read a report about the link between BPA exposure and breast and uterine cancer. It appears that BPA is Bisphenol A and is commonly found in plastics (those with a “7” code on the bottom), in the lining of aluminum cans and in dental sealants. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has expressed concern about potential effects of BPA on the brain and reproductive organs, though the link is not definitive.
I remember reading not to long ago also about the dangers of eating canned foods.
Although there is not a ban yet on using BPA in production, many companies are moving to eliminate it from their products.
If there is a link to cancer with bottled or canned foods, it would certainly make sense that there is an incredible amount of people who have developed cancer recently. I always thought it had to be something we are breathing or eating for so many people to get sick. Cancer causes could be right in front of us, and we don’t even know it.
