Christmas Scrapbooks

Built by Pamela M. Darbonne on Wednesday, November 30th, 2005

Though I am not a scrapbooker who has every photo in an album, I can say with great joy that I have faithfully kept up with all my Christmas photos each year. I have one album dedicated solely to Christmas, and I make a point to develop and scrapbook those photos before the lights dim and sun sets on January 31. How do you do this? By careful planning and organizing of your products and photos.

You can take the time now to put aside all your Christmas-related embellishments, stickers and scrapbooking papers in one place so that after the holiday rush is over you can just spread all your “goodies” out and be ready to crop. By cropping, I mean that you will get all your photos ready before you sit down with all the other accoutrements of developing your pages. This will streamline your process and make the most of your scrapbooking time.

The great thing about keeping the Christmas scrapbook current is that it becomes a coffee table piece during the holiday season. It is so fun to get out the Christmas scrapbook each year, sharing it with friends and visitors to our home. What better way to chronicle the changes in your family than to see in pictures where you’ve been and where you are going. Our family has been together now for 13 Christmas holiday seasons, and boy have we changed over the years! Take a trip down memory lane this year and get out those old photo albums or scrapbooks to share with the ones you love.
