Corsairs; another strategy pirate game, right? Yes, but let’s not write it off so soon! Corsairs offers a number of features you won’t see in those other rowdy games. Firstly, and my most favorite part, would be the actual ship to ship battles. Instead of clang, clang, clanging your way through swordfights alone as in Pirates! or waiting around for the smoke to clear, as in Cutthroats, you actually get to use the individual pirates in combat. A sort of “Lords of the Realm” meets “Buccaneers” concept is in play, and it makes for much more interesting gameplay.
