Create Really Cool 3D Artwork with Crayola Magic 3D Coloring Book

A Review of Crayola Magic 3D Coloring Book

Jackie and Kristina Wheeler

Kids 3-8 will love coloring in pictures with this creative software package. Imaginingselecting a deep forest green to color in the back of a sea turtle and when you fill in thecolor with the paint bucket, it creates the texture and shadows for the turtles backautomatically! This software is the first intelligent coloring package I’ve seen and it’sreally neat.

Children get to pick from 7 coloring books:
* Under the sea (our favorite, with fish, sharks, octopus and sea turtles)
* Insects
* Dinosaurs
* Wild animals
* On the farm
* Flying machines
* Teddy Bears

Each book contains 10 pictures ready to color in. Children get to pick from 21 classicand fun colors, 21 glitter crayons, and 13 cool textures and patterns. To add to the fun,Crayola throws in over 100 fun and surprising sounds.

After coloring in your masterpiece, you can print it easily or save it in your Crayolascrapbook. This software is easy to use, even for the 3 year olds and includes childrensvoices and fun sounds to keep them interested.Kids voices offer instructions and announce each color your child selects. This packagereally lets children explore their creativity and creates 3D pictures by automaticallyfilling in shadows and textures.

Kristina and I both give thumbs up on this one — she had a lot of fun creating andprinting some really “awesome” pictures. If you’re looking for a coloring book packagethat’s different from the others, this is the one to grab. My only wish (I have to have atleast one…) is that the developers would have included a simple drawing package so wecould create our own pictures.
