Curious George

My daughter saw the previews for Curious George and expressed an interest in seeing that. We are good friends with another couple that has a little boy her age. The two Dads set up an outing and took the kids to the movie and then out to lunch.

My daughter saw the previews for Curious George and expressed an interest in seeing that. We are good friends with another couple that has a little boy her age. The two Dads set up an outing and took the kids to the movie and then out to lunch.

How cute was that! Two dads and the two kids out to the movies and lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I’m remembering my husband when we were dating and first married. He was a rugged double black diamond skiing kind of guy. Yes, he was sweet ands sensitive but it’s still so funny to see him now as Dad.

As a parent you get to experience so many new things and you get to see your spouse in a whole new way and perhaps fall in love again on a daily basis as you see what a wonderful parent they are.

I’m sure Curious George was not the top movie on the list for either Dad but they went and had a great time. Lunch afterwards was McDonalds so the kids could play in the playland. It was not the favorite burger place for either Dad but again they did it for the kids.

No, you don’t always have to do everything the kids want but it sure is fun sometimes!
