Day 3 Jumpstart Flat Belly Diet….OOPS!
In case you haven’t read previous blog entries, I have started the Flat Belly Diet that everyone is talking about. I would like to lose the fat/weight that seems to be accumulating around my stomach.
I started the Jumpstart to the program that is supposed to last for 4 days and involves cutting calories, lowering sodium intake to nothing and eating low fat foods.
The first two days went okay (not great, but okay), but yesterday……
Didn’t Go So Great!
I think the main problem yesterday was that I was overly tired. When I am tired I tend to be more hungry and prone to eating sweets and other high calorie food items.
Up until dinner, everything was going smoothly. I was drinking my water, had a small breakfast, lunch and had several snacks throughout the day.
But when dinner came, everything went downhill. I ended up making a beef roast for dinner for everyone else and then I was too tired to make what I was supposed to eat. My kids are not too thrilled about eating the foods listed for dinner in the Jumpstart program, so I end up having to make 2, sometimes 3 different meals every night.
So I ended up eating a very small portion of mashed potatoes and beef roast. After that, I indulged in a small piece of apple pie and ice cream. OOPS–apple pie and ice cream are definitely not listed in the Flat Belly Diet book.
In short, I woke up this morning feeling a little bloated–because the roast and pototoes did have salt in them–so I decided that today would be a redo for Jumpstart Day 3. I woke up this morning hungry though, and that is never a good sign. I think if I try to drink more water today, that will help with the hunger.
Stay tuned tomorrow for a REDO of Jumpstart Day 3 of the Flat Belly Diet.
