Living in Hawaii, in the middle of a "POT OF SALTWATER" called the Pacific Ocean, I've always asked myself "How could i help the issues we face everyday living on an island in an isolated archipelago." One issue we are faced with is Water Shortages! Our water is constantly being depleted from our wells miles deep underground at a rate to fast that nature cannot keep-up with. I've been researching the idea of desalinizing saltwater, and came to this post. I believe that a 100% ECO-FRIENDLY system is the ONLY way to go. And I thank you and all for the ideas and efforts made in achieving this goal. I am currently researching this idea and will utilize the technology of using solar power to energize and desalinate the saltwater for personal and commercial use, or wherever the idea takes me. I am always open to and ask of anyone willing in helping in any and every way with ideas or information on desalinizing the saltwater and making it drinkable in the most cost-efficient and ECO-FRIENDLY ways.
