There has been a lot of discussion lately about earning a college degree on line. This is a topic definitely worth some research. As a headhunter, I represent colleges that offer on line college degrees and as a parent, I have a daughter who is working to earn a college degree on line.

There are definitely pros and cons to earning a college degree on line. I will just mention a few of the pros here in this blog for now. The main advantage to earning a college degree on line is having the ability to work from your lap top or desktop wherever you may be as long as you have a high speed connection.

You don’t have to drive or take a bus to a classroom. You don’t have to rush from building to building to get to classes. You don’t have to worry about the time of day (in most cases). You don’t have to worry about the weather. You don’t have to spend money on gas. You can set aside a quiet place in the corner of any room to set up your computer with a small work space. You can go to your computer in the middle of the night if you can’t sleep and work on your classes. You can work after you put your family to bed. You can work on your classes before you go to work in the morning.
