Founded in 1909, Eureka vacuum cleaners are a part of history. They were created by Fred Wardell and became a leader early in the market for electric vacuum cleaners. Vacuum cleaners have become a major household cleaning appliance. With many different companies that have manufactured these vacuum cleaners, the Eureka vacuum cleaner is still among the leaders of the market. You can find these vacuums in over 40 other countries other than the United States. Quality has made these vacuum cleaners known worldwide.
These Eureka vacuum cleaners are mainly sold door to door. In selling these vacuums in this manner, the consumer gets a free demonstration on just exactly what this vacuum is capable of doing. Most people prefer to purchase things when they can be shown that it actually does what is advertised. This strategy has made this company a major competitor in the vacuum cleaner market.
Over the years, Eureka has made several innovative improvements to their vacuum cleaner models. One such improvement is the lack of need for replacement bags. These vacuums dump all the dirt that is collected and places it in a cup. All that is needed is to empty the cup. Another great improvement is the design of the loop handle. This allows for better control of the vacuum cleaner as well as the ease of use for people of any age.
One of the best improvements is that of the suction power that is provided by these vacuum cleaners. With the use of a 3 or 8 amp motor, you can get just as much power as you can from a model that is much bigger. This makes them perfect to clean up just about any mess whether it is dirt, pet hair or dust.
When it comes to filters, the Eureka vacuum cleaner still requires the use of them. The filters that are used by these vacuum cleaner models can be cleaned by brushing out or washed out. You can clean these filters several times before you will need to replace them. Replacement filters can be purchased for less than $10 dollars each.
Throughout the history of the Eureka vacuum, there have been many improvements made to these vacuum cleaners. Eureka started out as a major competitor and remains one to this day. With 100 years of experience backing them up, you can expect a quality product from a well known vacuum cleaner company world wide.

I purchased a Eureka vacuum cleaner and after 8 months it has already broken! They sent me a few replacement parts...and it still doesn't work. Now they want to make me drive 160 miles to have it serviced. I think they need a lesson in customer service! I will never buy one of their products again!!
