Flying around your town

If you ever get the opportunity take a flight around your town. It can be amazing.

On vacation it is easy choice to do fun out of the ordinary things but why not at home? You’d never think twice about a plane or helicopter ride around a Hawaiin island or a glacier in Alaska. Taking a plane or helicopter around your own town can be truly amazing.

If you are lucky you may even be able to fly right over your house. Imagine you kids excitement if they could fly over their school or the soccer field where they spend so much time each Spring. Or what if you fly over your favorite lake or beach.

It’s quite an experience to look for landmarks you know and to see your area from up above. it’s a fun idea if you have out of town guests and want to do something really different.

Look around at the small airports. Many offer plane and helicopter rides every week-end. Local air shows generally offer plane rides too.

This makes a great anniversary, birthday, Mother’s day or father’s Day gift too.
