October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Many people across the United States will be holding fundraisers and participating in events to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research. You’ll be seeing all sorts of pink colored products available in stores – everything from shoes to kitchen gadgets. You’ll also be seeing magazine and newspaper articles, as well as television features about breast cancer awareness.

There are many opportunities to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.

Here are some of them.

Participate in the Race for the cure or a 3 day Walk for the Cure to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. Go to www.komen.org and www.the3day.org.
