Fundraising Ideas You Can Try

Pie Throwing Event - To help kick-off a United Way campaign employees of Napa Auto Parts in Middletown, Connecticut, held a pie throwing event. They raised $403for the Middlesex United Way by selling whip cream pies that employees bought and threw in the faces of their bosses and managers.
Haircut Fundraiser - In Chandler, Arizona, Judo Rosic raised money for the Phoenix affiliate of the Susan G. Koman for the cure. He decided not to get his haircut until he had raised $5,000. He went for six months without a hair cut and when he did get his hair cut he had actually raised $7,200.
Burger King Night Out – Cub Scout Pack 64 in Middleboro, MA, holds a monthly dining out fundraiser at their local Burger King. A portion of the restaurant’s sales go to the Scout Pack. In addition, they ask for donations of items to support our troops overseas be brought to the restaurant during the event.
Shopping Fundraiser – The Wahoo Library Foundation, in Wahoo, Nebraska, is holding their annual fall shopping fundraiser. Sixteen vendors will be selling their products and donating a portion of the proceeds to the library. The vendors include Avon, BeautiControl, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Discovery Toys, Longaberger Baskets, Momma’s Milkshake, the Pampered Chef, Partylite Candles and Gifts, Premier Jewelry, Southern Living at Home, Stampin’ Up, Stanley Home Products, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, Usborne Books.
Soup Nite Fundraiser - Bread for Life, in Southington, MA, will hold its annual community soup nite fundraiser on Oct. 29. Admission is $6 for individuals and $20 for families along with a donation of canned food. The menu will consist of soup, bread, desserts and drinks.
