Macy’s Department Stores are having a special one-day shopping event throughout the nation on Saturday, September 16th. The event is called “Shop for a Cause” and is aimed at helping local nonprofit organizations and support the community wherever there is a Macy’s. You can also shop online for a cause at the Macy’s website

When you visit your local Macy’s on Saturday and make a $5.00 donation to a participating charity, Macy’s will give you an all-day shopping pass! All proceeds from the donation with go directly to the charity or cause.

The all day shopping pass entitles you to:

* 20% off regular, sale and clearance women’s, men’s and kids’ apparel and accessories, fine bridge and fashion jewelry, bed and bath linens, housewares, frames, luggage, china, crystal and silver.

* 10% off regular, sale and clearance furniture, mattresses, rugs, all kitchen and personal care electrics and technology items.
