Now that Spring time has finally arrived, the weather is nice enough to participate in outdoor fundraising activities. I was recently asked to join in and walk with the WalkAmerica program for the March of Dimes.
I was asked to either donate or participate in one of their walks. So, I went to the March of Dimes website and was able to donate online and find a walk in my
community. The March of Dimes walks are held throughout the United States. They are not all on the same day so the walk I am going to do is about a month after the group I am supporting is going to walk.
After reading about all the walks that the March of Dimes is having, I decided to look into the walks and runs that other nonprofit organizations are sponsoring. There are so many that a person could be walking, running, or biking for for a charity several times a month!
Here is a list of the walks that I found so far.
