Good points on marriage

A successful marriage isn’t finding the right person – it’s being the right person.” (Gabriel Browne)

A true man does not need to romance a different girl every night; a true man romances the same girl for the rest of her life.” (Ana Alas)

Experience teaches only the teachable.” (Aldous Huxley)

Marriage TAKES effort. It requires DEDICATION. It requires a WILLINGNESS TO LEARN from one another and UNlearn what doesn’t work…

Nowadays, many just “move on” to their next relationship. They have a dream that next time will be different, yet they fail time and time again.

WHY?

It’s a good question, one people should ask when faced with the various challenges of life. One of the MAIN reasons I have found is that people migrate through the different stages of their lives with the same emotional luggage as they did twenty years ago.

People MUST learn to move on. When hurt, deal with it, and move on. When divorced, deal with it, adjust what must be adjusted, and move on. Moving on is an ACTIVE DECISION NOT TO LET THE PAST HAVE ANY INFLUENCE [negative that is...] UPON YOUR FUTURE.

Once you learn to let go of things you can’t change, you can begin to be the person you were meant to be. Whether male or female you’re given 24 hours every day for the rest of your life. Carpe diem [seizing the day] is something YOU must do. Noone can do it for you.

Therefore, it’s not a question of finding the right person, but being the right person. Your mate [present or future] will be grateful you read this article IF you apply it in your life.

Good luck. :-)
