Wipe up spills immediately with a dry paper towel or a lint free white rag. Use a damp lint free white rag if the spill is sticky. Dry the area immediately. This will keep the floor from straining.

Daily wipe foot prints from the floor with a soft cloth. You do not want the dirt and oil from prints to settle into the wood and become a permanent stain.

Daily use a clean dust mop with no solutions or polishing sprays on it to pick up pet hairs, loose dirt and dust from the hardwood flooring. Monthly dust mop with a polishing spray applied to the mop head. Dust the section and then polish with a soft, lint free towel.

Use a diluted hardwood floor cleaning solution to mop the flooring weekly. Mop a small section of the flooring with a slight damp, soft sponge or white cloth mop head. Dry the section with a lint free white towel or rag as you mop before going to the next section.
