Wow! Hazelnut Cheese Bits is an exceptionally delicious cheese appetizer and it’s so easy to make! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, you may want to be ahead of the game and come up with your menu well in advance. I’m all for doing things ahead of time.

This light and delicious appetizer works perfectly for Thanksgiving gatherings. Your guest won’t fill up too much before the big meal, but will snap these delicious tidbits up to take off the edge of hunger.

You will need to make more than you think, because this easy appetizer recipe will get snapped up in a big hurry.

What you’ll need:

- 8 ounces of process American cheese (shredded)

- 4 ounces butter (softened)

- 2/3 cup flour

- 1/8 teaspoon salt

- 1/3 cup hazelnuts (toasted and finely ground)

- couple of dashes of hot pepper sauce (to taste)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Here’s how easy it is: Blend all the ingredients together to form small balls (or bits!). Press a whole hazelnut into the center of each ball. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Serve the Bits hot. That’s it! How easy is that?

Be prepared for many requests for the recipe.
