  1. There are a lot of liver cleansing diet recipes we can find in the internet but only few of these are actually effective. For best results, it is always good and safe to consult doctors and have a thorough research.

To add on to the other comment (I'm sitting next to the person, who forgot to mention something): Licorice tends to slowly deplete potassium, which the body needs. However,- Dandelion (root, leaves, stalk) supplements the body with a high amount (by a weight ratio) of potassium, which is readily absorbed. Maybe someone's found a tasty way to combine the two.

Licorice is another great one. It acts as a strong antiinflammatory and soothes tissues. Especially concerning the liver, it contains chemicals that help to calm the organs; it takes upon itself some of the stressful toxins present in the body so that the affected organs can take a step back to look over what needs to be done. For tea, I'd say green tea is the most effective. The earlier the bud has been harvested, the better for your liver. It's just my opinion, of course. Black pepper, like licorice, is known in ayuverdic medicine as a heal-all. Add freshly ground, organic black pepper to your spicier infusions. Naturally, clearing the colon of excess waste matter is a great way to relieve the (other) major detoxifying organs. Peppermint (all mints, including catnip) can be used to gently degrade sticky mucoids and fats lining the intestines. Note: Don't enjoy too much of your mint infusion without a good amount of dietary fiber. Nothing to push the melted junk away means you'll likely end up with either a: the runs, or b: an overworked liver. You can, in fact, damage your liver further by radically cleansing your colon without a proper amount of fiber to soak the loosened crap up. There are more, but everyone has their own way. (Well, they should.) Everyone's body is different, so follow your taste buds and natural know-how to find what works best.
