Hot tub water heaters are how we enjoy the use of hot tubs. Everyone loves to sit in a hot tub and let the hot water relax their body. It does not matter if the hot tub is placed inside or outside, it is something that every one can enjoy. But how do we get the water that is in the hot tub hot? Well, we use something called a hot tub water heater. There are three different kinds of these water heaters, but not each one can be used with every hot tub.

The type of hot tub water heater that is the most cost efficient and the one that will heat your water quicker is the natural gas heaters. They are great at heating the water quickly and will cost you half as much as the types of these water heaters. They are the perfect ones to use if you are the type of person that frequently uses their hot tub.

Another type of water heater for the hot tub is the wood burning models. These models burn cord wood or coal to supply heat to your hot tub. Though this type of heater cannot be used with just any type of hot tub. This model is only used with hot tubs that are made out of wood. Though it can only be used with certain types of hot tubs, it will heat the water rather quickly so that you can enjoy your time soaking.

The third type of hot tub water heater is the electric model. This is one of the more common types of water heaters for the hot tub. Many hot tub packages will include one of these heaters. These heaters hook up to an electric 110/220v outlet. They are easy to repair if need be and are self contained inside the hot tub.

Whether you enjoy the use of your hot tub inside or outside you can always have hot water with the use of one of these hot tub water heaters. They will keep your water temperature the same even if the weather outside is very cold. If looking into purchasing one of these water heaters for your hot tub, then the gas models will save you money in the long run as they will not make your electric bill sky rocket.

If you are still not sure about which water heater is the right one for you, then you ask you local hot tub dealer. They will be able to answer many of the questions that you may have.
