How To Be Successful At Sales Management

Sales management is all about directing the success we want from ourselves and from our team. When we make a ritutal of writing down our own personal and sales goals in addition to our team goals we truly write our own success.



If you’re in sales management you have the opportunity every day to set new goals and create success.

As a sales manager make it a ritual to write down your five personal goals at the start of each day and follow those goals up with five sales goals for yourself and five sales goals for your team.

Carry these lists of goals with you every day and refer to them often. This will keep you empowered and strong all day long.

The benefits of frequently referring to your goals are as follows:

1)You give yourself a sense of calmness and of being in control. Remember control is power.

2)You are more focused on your tasks and less likely to get sidetracked with things that aren’t as productive.

3)You reduce feelings of being overwhelmed because you have a clear direction and are approaching your day one goal at a time.

4)You also reduce and soon eliminate fear, doubt and procrastination which are major time wasters.

5)Last but not least, you will be successful at sales management when you teach your team to follow in your footsteps and set their own goals. When they too set goals, your sales will take off like never before.
