Yes, you can learn how to build a simple website in just a few hours.
I was always a coward when it came to building a website from scratch. I have 14 websites now and many more blogs, but my fear of ftp (will explain that later) kept me from actually being creative and developing my own from the ground up.
I was unfamiliar with the terminology that surrounded building a website and the kinds of websites that you could build. I didn’t know the differences between the different kinds that were offered so instead, I just took the easiest route I could find. The problem was that route became very expensive. I kept building websites and paying for them either up front, or choosing a monthly payment plan. That was all well and good until many of the websites needed to be renewed to the tune of hundreds of dollars at the same time. That was something, as a newbie, that I didn’t think about. All I wanted to do was learn how to build a simple website and the methods I used truly did make it simple but expensive. I would have a four or five page website up and running in under a day (with distractions).
I sign up for newsletters from people I’ve heard of or who have been recommended to me through a product I have purchased and who seem to offer what I am interested in. I received an email that piqued my interest with the title: Create a Website by 3:45 This Afternoon. Click here for more info. I already knew it was possible to build a website in a day, but I opened it anyway to see if I could learn anything new.
This email contained a link that took me to a landing page that I will never forget. Greeting me was a friendly smiling face on a video that introduced this new product. Immediately, his personality conveyed a spirit of wanting to be genuinely helpful. I couldn’t help but listen to the rest of his video, scroll down his page, and sign up for his product.
Even more amazing, Chris Farrell (the guy who made the video), was giving away his instantly downloadable ebook on how to build a simple website, for free. I knew there had to be a catch. I downloaded the ebook, got it for free, and there was no catch. All of the information in the book was very valuable and for the first time ever, I had ftp explained to me in plain, simple English. FTP simply stands for file transfer protocol and it allows you to build a website and send that website to a hosting company to allow you to get your website live online. I knew what it was. I just never knew how to do it the right way, until now.
In Chris’s ebook, you will learn how to build a simple website. It took me about an hour to build mine following his directions. I already had some basic knowledge though so I suspect it would take a few hours to practice and read the materials and sections more than one time for the person who is a true newbie who has never built a website.
The ebook is free and the only thing I would add to it upfront is that you will need a domain name and a hosting site. He does mention this in the ebook so please read it first the whole way through before actually taking any action. The domain name is what you want to name your website to get it online. Chris uses his own name to market his own products.
In his free ebook, he offers suggestions as to where to get your domain name and also, where to get your hosting. He has a monthly membership program that you can join with a $1 trial that is billed for $27 in 7 days if you decide to stay a member. Along with that, he will provide you with free, unlimited hosting meaning you can build as many websites as you want, and he will host them for you as long as you remain a member. You will be literally blown away by the amount of material on his membership site, all presented in the simple manner that anyone can understand.
You should be able to publish your website the same day, but the one thing is that you will have to have your domain name pointed to the hosting site of your choice (don’t worry, he explains that as well). Sometimes this takes 24 hours so your site cannot be seen on the internet until your domain name points to the hosting site where your website is located. You can still build your entire site in a few hours or less, but you may have to wait a day or two before you can see it online. It all depends on where you get your domain name and your hosting account.
I highly recommend at least taking a look at Chris’s product. You will be amazed at how clearly he teaches a concept and you will learn how to build a simple website in just a few hours.

The easiest way to creat a website is to use one of the ready made packages like 5 minute membership sites .
Great suggestions and examples, especially for a newbie like myself who lacks a natural sense of web design.
