How to Make a Vampire Costume For Halloween

Everyone has wanted to dress up as a vampire for Halloween at one point in their life, whether that was during their young Trick or Treating times or during their teenage school dance times or even later on as adults going to masquerade balls. Now it’s time to fulfill your fantasy and make your very own Vampire Costume for Halloween!

Vampire Costume Outfit

For your vampire costume, you will need to find some black or dark clothing, no matter what type. Woman can wear a fancy black dress and cover their shoulders with a black shawl or scarf. Remember that halloween allows you to dress up as much as you want without any judgement from your peers, so if you feel like dressing like a sexy vampiress then go for it and show some shoulders or cleavage or even choose a shorter dress.

For men, short of wearing a suit with a white shirt you should try to find the most formal looking black clothes you�ve got. If you don�t have much in the way of fancy clothes, you can just get yourself a nice big black piece of fabric and use it as your cape while wearing your costume. To make it even more fancy try finding a red velvety piece of cloth and sewing it to the opposite side of the black cape. For shoes you can wear anything you like, but black is always preferable.

Vampire Costume Props

To add another level of mystery to your costume, try wearing a pair of white gloves: short length white gloves for men and longer arm length gloves for women. Try carrying a long cane and you�ve practically got the vampire look sold. You will of course want to add some whitening make up to all exposed areas of your skin including your face. Both men and women will also want to apply copious amounts of mascara and dark makeup around the eyes to make you look more dark and gloomy.

For vampire teeth you should purchase a pair of plastic vampire teeth at the dollar store since these are very affordable and they really make a vampire costume complete. You will also want to paint a bit of blood at the side of your mouth and wear some deep dark lipstick if you�re a woman. You may also want to spike your hair up if you�re a man. For women you should try to make your hair look as classical as possible.
