How to manage your money better

Built by Sherrie Le Masurier on Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

Do you feel out of control when it comes to your personal finances?

Money management can be frustrating but it CAN and WILL get better with a positive attitude and by believing in yourself.

With the right outlook you can learn how to organize your use of money and take control of your spending once and for all.

Whether you feel down and out because you’re always broke; get depressed spending money you don’t have; have a low income and are tired of struggling or if you’re always taking out loans, running up overdrafts or turning to friends and family to help you out…there is hope.

The first step is to pull your head out of the sand and take positive action toward learning how to manage your money better.

The second step is to look at your beliefs about money. This is important because nothing in life holds us back more than having a negative belief system in place. If you don’t believe you can do it – you won’t. You see, our thoughts are based on our personal beliefs. And, our actions come about as a result of our thoughts.

In other words, if you believe you’re hopeless with money – you will be. If you believe you’ll never be successful – you won’t. You need a positive belief system and a positive belief in yourself and in your ability to effect a change in the way you manage your money.

There will be more about positive money management beliefs in my next post.

One way is finding a way to squeeze every nickel out of your budget each month. Get rid of unnecessary reoccurring bills and expenses. Find ways to lower the reoccurring bills that you can't get rid of like your mortgage.
