Human Emotions You Control Them, Not The Other Way Around

Many people think that we have no control over our human emotions. They just happen to us. So they allow negative thoughts to rule their lives, feeling emotions that make them miserable.

Is this something you struggle with? Do you experience negative thinking and negative human emotions? If so, you need to learn that you can reverse this trend for yourself.

Let’s begin to understand how to think and feel better

If you feel fear, guilt, worry, frustration, or anxiety often, you need to realize that human emotions are a direct result of the thinking going on inside your mind. Since you decide which thoughts you will think, you are the master of your thoughts and, subsequently, your emotions. If you feel negatively, you have decided to feel that way. You do have a choice to turn your thinking around into the positive direction.

Yes, things do happen in our environments that are hard to deal with. We all must deal with stressful situations that are beyond our control. However, how you react and think about those situations are in your complete control.

Think of it like this: Your brain is a peaceful organ and at your mercy. If you fill it with positive thinking, it will reward you with positive human emotions that you feel in your body. If you fill your brain with negative thinking, it has no choice but to send out negative signals to your body.

This can lead to another problem. Besides just feeling bad, you’re also running the danger of disease and other physical problems. Negative human emotions like guilt, fear or anger create toxic responses in your body. Many health issues are caused by thinking up negative emotions. This toxic response can result in ulcers, rashes, high blood pressure, nail biting, vague stomach pain, etc.

Since negative thoughts can be toxic in so many ways, it’s important to learn how to leave them behind. This can be done through the process of observance. The next time one of your negative thoughts enters your mind, try catching it before it can turn into a negative human emotion in your body. It’s a process of paying attention to your thinking and deciding which thoughts should go and which should stay.

The biggest thing to remember is that your mind doesn’t rule you unless you allow it to. Your body can’t be invaded by negative human emotions like fear and anxiety unless you allow it to. Instead, pay attention to your thoughts and center on the joy, excitement and happiness that you’d rather feel anyway.
