It’s a paradox but namely during periods of instability and disorders, watch makers use bright colors and apply them in cases, bracelets and straps coloring.

Color has come back to the watch industry and there is an impression that it’s for a long period of time. Watch brands strive for the highest watch price category. This tendency has appeared several years ago. On the other hand it’s not surprising – because the demand for prestigious watches of the luxury class has enormously risen.

Here an interesting question appears: Will there be enough space for all who wishes to be on the top of watch pyramid?

One more interesting fact should be mentioned. Despite the fact that we entered into a new millennium not so long ago, waiting for something new, fresh and mould-breaking, today everybody speaks about traditions, heritage and authenticity. That means that return to watch production origin is evident. The authority and fame of watch craftsmen that make watches themselves has reached the highest level. New mechanisms and arrangements with various complications appeared. And this is also one of the trends in modern watch making field.

Finally, one more phenomenon that has recently appeared cannot be left without our attention.

Probably it sounds strange but widening and strengthening of big watchmaking concerns’ positions open new opportunities in front of the most interesting and independent watch producers. All frameworks and freedom of conventionalities accepted in society and also flexible price policy let them conquer a special niche in the world of watch market that seemed absolutely monopolized and where was not place for independent watch makers till the present time.
