Internet Marketing – Buyer Beware

Back to my story. . . So here I was, starry eyed and eager to get started on my first steps to becoming a millionaire. I had bared my soul, told these people my life story and gave them a glimpse of my hopes and dreams. I filled out the online form. It said in the form that they would review my application and only a certain few would be considered. That made sense. Where would they get the time to train hundreds of new millionaires? Then, I got the call. . .

I (yes insignificant little me) was chosen out of hundreds of others to get a phone call. I was so excited. My application had passed the mustard. I was going to be trained to be one of the next 100 millionaires by two of the most exciting millionaires in the world!

The phone call turned into an interview, very similar to a pre-screening job interview. The questions were insightful. They went over my application with me, hitting the highlights of my dreams and aspirations. A half hour went by. The first verdict was in. I had passed. I seemed like someone who had all of the qualities they were looking for. They would have the next person in line now contact me to provide all of the details I needed to get started.

Oh my. I could hardly contain myself. I was one of the “chosen ones.” That next call came. It seemed like days, but it wasn’t. It was the same day. The nice gentleman on the other end of the line began to explain the program in detail. It sounded so wonderful. Online education, dvds sent in the mail, workbooks, seminars, personal one on one coaching, will work with me until I earn my initial investment back (90 days they said verbally, and one year if not in 90 days and then double my money in two years if they can’t help me get it back in one.) It was all in writing folks! Yep indeed. I got it all in writing. I had the brand name millionaire mentors who were going to lead me to the top. I had the contract, the guarantee and the warranty in my hand. They even told me to write a check to myself for $1,000,000 because that’s how much money I would have in my bank account if I learned their system.

Sound great? Come back next time because for as great as it sounded, there was one catch up front. I can’t wait to tell you what the catch was. Have a blessed week and a fun weekend.
