You may not be aware that some of the symptoms that you have been experiencing may be a result of hazardous heavy metals that you have in your body. The type of symptoms include skin disorders, sleep disorders, joint malfunction, low energy levels, sluggishness and other chronic conditions. Excessive toxins in your body can turn cancerous.

Ionizing detox of heavy metals is recommended by natural health experts is a way of eliminating harmful metals in the body. In fact, one method of ionizing detox that is increasingly popular is the ionizing footbath. Rather than consuming medication or undergoing chelation therapy, ionizing footbaths are considered relatively safe.

Heavy metals can be ingested through food containing dangerous metals. Food that is canned or preserved and that have gone through processing may be contaminated along the way. Drinking water may also contain heavy metals. Dental fixtures can also add to metal content in the body. Heavy metals that cause harm to your body include mercury, lead, and cadmium, among others.

Heavy metal detox is usually undertaken by a natural process of your body to eliminate harmful metals. Natural means of heavy metal detox happens when you sweat, urinate or defacates. However, natural health experts believe that when your body accumulates too much toxins as a result of the constant bombardment of unhealthy foods that you consume and air that you breathe in, your body organs cannot function optimally.

This is when instead of having eliminated them, heavy metals start to collect in your body and thus causing problems. Ionizing footbaths is one method that can aid in the detoxification process.

The concept of an ionizing detox of heavy metals is using a gadget to create both negatively and positively charged ions in warm water. When you soak your feet into the ionizing footbath, positive and negative ions apparently enter and are absorbed by your body. When the ions enter your body system, they attach themselves to toxic materials, including heavy metals. With the attachment, they neutralize the toxins, making them less active. Toxins are then excreted through the pores of the person’s feet and into the footbath.

Through changes in the colour of the footbath, manufacturers of ionizing detoxif footbath say that you can tell which part of you is ailing. For instance, a yellow green colour indicates kidney and bladder malfunction, while dark green colour indicates a gallbladder or cardiovasculour problems. In the case of ionizing detox of heavy metals, the black flecks in the water indicate that toxic metals were excreted from the body.

Unlike chelation therapy, another method of removing heavy metals, ionizing detox can be done in the comfort of your own home. If you suspect the presence of heavy metals, there really is no harm done in trying out this process. You may feel a boost of energy levels after a series of ionizing footbath treatments.

My daughter experienced a detox footbath while in Austin USA recently. She was in awe of the colour change in the footbath - but as she has been a Flight Attendant for 12 years now, she has picked up on some 'stuff' that is better out than in. I live in Australia and am inquiring as to whether such a detox is available here and how do I go about finding more information on the product. The link for more info does not work.
