It wasn’t long ago when Katie was wearing her hair long and curly, like most celebrities today. Today she has completely transformed her looks by getting a short, chic bob that features lots of layering and edging. The style suits her face shape well and she has been styling her hair in many different ways.

I always thought that short hair was not all that versatile. Basically you got it cut a certain way and that was how you wore it every day. Because of this thought, I have always been afraid to get a short hair style. What if I get my hair cut short and I don’t like it? Then what? At least if my hair is longer and I don’t like a certain cut, I can pull some or all of it back into a ponytail or something until I can figure out what to do with it.

Katie has taught us that it is possible to have short hair and look totally different every day. Even Katie’s friend Victoria Beckham, another short hair style icon, doesn’t wear her hair in very many different ways. There was a picture taken not too long ago of Tom and Katie at some event (movie premiere I think) and I had to look twice because I couldn’t figure out who that was with Tom Cruise.
