I’m posting this site as a favor to all of the millions of St. Louis Cardinal fans who live in the midwest.

KMOX has been broadcasting out of St. Louis for a lot of years. I wish I could tell you how many, but suffice it to say that my earliest memories involve my dad listening to Cardinals games on 1120 AM.

Fox just doesn’t get it about the obnoxious brainless bombast of Tim McCarver (ironically enough, a former Cardinal). So, for all of you true blue Cardinal fans, enjoy this week’s Bald Guy Pick, and keep tuning in to 1120 AM with your TV volume down while Howard Cosell, excuse me, Tim McCarver raves on endlessly.

Oh, and Fox, while I’m on the subject: (1)Dump all of your face cams. Baseball fans don’t need endless face closeups. In fact, if I see Derek Jeter’s pores one more time, I’m gonna hurl. Just keep the center field camera on in between action shots. (2)Since you obviously have lots of bucks, hire Joe Morgan and Jon Miller away from ESPN. They are the greatest play-by-play team since Michaels and Eucker. Maybe true baseball fans will actually begin LISTENING to your commercials.
