L’ Oreal Heiress Refused To Undergo Medical Test

France’s richest woman and L’Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt, refused to undergo a medical tests in order to determine whether or not she was in a weak state when she lavished a friend with gifts and cash worth $ 1.44 billion.

The medical test was supposed to be carried out before March 10 following a court order for the 87-year-old Bettencourt to undergo the test before the April trial of her friend, Francois Marie Barnier. Her 62-year -old photographer friend faces exploitation charges filed by Bettencourt’s daughter alleging that Barnier took advantage of the elderly billionaire’s fragility to milk money from her.

Atty. Georges Kiejman, Bettencourt’s lawyer, said Thursday she will not undergo the medical tests.
