Getting your dream job does not depend on pure luck. Much depends on the efforts, preparations, as well as the strategy you employ in landing your first post.

Some people find it hard to take rejection that they walk out at the first sign of it. Be more proactive, and think of more creative ways in finding opportunity. If your’e eyeing a job where you have no job experience, think of stepping stones that could set your foot in the door or gain as much experience as you can.

Some people take advantage of internship programs offered by a company. Others take up the course study related to the job they have in mine. If taking studies are not possible, you may consider reading good books on your target job. Read the right books, and get a lot of job hunting tips from various experts. Read the newspapers or use the internet and other resources to find out job openings. Open your mind to possibilities.

As the old saying goes “God helps those who help themselves.” Meet the opportunities halfway, have faith, and be ready to receive God’s blessings.
