Capturing images without the need for film is the greatest advantage of the digital camera. With numerous functions they do not need the complicated mechanical components of a standard film camera. If you are going to be taking your camera everywhere, choose a handy and portable model. Why carry around something that is going to make you neck ache when it is not necessary; unless you are a professional photographer of course.
