Worries are an excuse for not doing what you really have to be doing. A reactive person appears very busy and worried. With worry, no problems can be resolved. A proactive person focuses attention on the present, acts with initiative, and the understanding that being calm and free from worry is far more effective.

Commentary on Today’s Thought:
This is an excellent thought to understand the importance of Being in Present Moment (always).
Most of the time we carried away with the unwanted thoughts. These unwanted thoughts gives tensions, worries, anger, stress etc. Unwanted thoughts arise because our mind always dwells in the past or future activities. By remembering the past and worrying about future, we simply loose the precious present moment.
By worrying, we live in illusion and thinking that we are busy in solving the problems. Actually, the fact is that “With Worry, No Problems can be Resolved“.
Lesson is to learn from this positive thought is always keep focusing attention on the present moment. This will make us calm, happy and free from worry. So be proactive take the charge of your current moment right away. Make your each and every moment PRECIOUS, it’s going to come once in a life. Utilize it fully and do not worry about tomorrow until it comes to You.

Very appropriate - I recently realised the great treasure that is there in cherishing every present moment of life - it is but a folly to be dwelling on the past or be thinking of the future and thus not live in the present.
