For a collection account I had with Medical Payment Data I just called the # that was provided by "Mitch" (in March)
555-555-1212which is Equifax and they were able to provide me with the contact phone # to call that was on my credit report. For my collection account I was directed to555-555-1212. I then spoke to a representative for no more than 10 minutes and was able to pay off that account over the phone. Hope this helps! I am a loan officer with a client that has the Medical Payment Data entry on his credit. It was very helpful to get the info listed here. My client ran his own credit on www.annualcredit.com. The original creditor did appear and he got it paid and we are in a position to fund his home loan. Thanks to all of you.

They told me you won't find a number for them and you have to dispute it through the Credit Reoporting Agencies only.PLEASE READ THIS IT SHOULD HELP YOU---I run across this occasionally with my clients. If it is reporting to Equifax it is my understanding that they are not allowed to report the creditor due to HIPAA to report it so it only shows up as Medical payment data. If one of the other bureaus reports it, you will likely get the information. The person who has this on their credit needs to call a special number for Equifax the number is 1

By law credit reporting agencies cannot disclose certain medical info(relating to physical,mental or behavirol conditions). Although they do not generally collect such info. it could appear in the name of a data furnisher. If you pull a credit report personally, those names will be displayed, however to other they only show up as MEDICAL PAYMENT DATA!!!!! Took me forever to figure that one out.. Hope this helps someone else..
I just called the phone number (8128) It is NOT Medical Payment Data. It IS Medical Data Systems. They claim they are NOT Medical Payment Data. I checked and rechecked. They claim they have nothing to do with Medical Payment Data.

555-555-1212; however, it is disconnected. So, I called my loan officer and she said to go to Experian.com and get a free credit report. On that report at the top there will be I'm guessing a phone number. You need to contact that number, which I am assuming is the Credit Bureau (who you need to contact) and tell them you want to file a dispute with them against the company. The credit bureau will walk through the dispute with you and than file it against Medical Payment Data. Once they file it Medical Payment Data has so many days to claim and collect against you. If they do not respond within the amount of time they have, than the Company will be deleted off your credit report. I hope this helps you.
