Are you completely fed up with your current hair style? Fed up with frizzy hair, layers that won’t behave, damaged hair or just plain fed up?
It is truly amazing how much our hair style can affect our lives. When you watch a movie with a certain actress or actor and you can’t recognize them because he/she is wearing a different hair style, that is when you realize the total affect the hair has on the way we look and feel.
If you don’t have a personal hair stylist at your disposal, or thousands of dollars to spend on hair care products and hair treatments, it may difficult for you to make any sort of improvements to your hair style. Or NOT>>>>
How to get a better hair style
The truth is, you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to improve your hair style. There are a lot of different things that you can do that don’t have to cost a lot of money.
For example, if your hair is damaged and you want to do a deep conditioner, but don’t have $20 to spend on a brand name conditioner, you can always buy an intensive conditioner at the drugstore for say 5 or 6$ and just leave it on your hair for about 30 minutes. Sometimes the drugstore deep conditioners are just as effective as the expensive ones.
Another long-term activity that you can do to improve the condition of your hair is to find a good hair/skin/nails daily vitamin and start taking it. If you don’t eat a balanced diet filled with the proper nutrients for your hair, your hair will not thrive. Taking supplemental vitamins are the best way to ensure that your hair has what it needs.
You must also consider that maybe you just don’t have the right hair style for your face shape. To determine your face shape, pull back all the hair off of your face. Stand in front of a mirror and trace the shape of your face (with something removable like a soap bar) on the mirror. Then stand back and look at the shape you have drawn. Is it close to an oval, circle, square, triangle, heart or diamond?
After you know your face shape, you can start looking at hair styles designed for your shape.
