The 2006 NFL season will begin Thursday, September 7 when the Dolphins visit the Panthers. I don’t know about you, but I think this will be one of the most exciting seasons of all time. So many question marks, only time will tell what will happen. Continue reading to see m predictions.
AFC East
It will come down to New England and Miami. I feel the Jets and Bills will be bad teams this year, winning 5-7 games. I got a hunch the Miami will make the playoffs this year, they will be able to pass the ball as they have added Culpepper, and their defense is solid. Same with New England, however I feel Corey Dillions days are numbered and Miami, yes Miami will win the division.
AFC North
I think this will be a down for the Bengals, so Pittsburgh will win the division. Baltimore will finish 2nd, but Pittsburgh will win by a good cushion.
AFC South
Colts, enough said.
AFC West
Probably the most competitive division. Oakland has looked impressive in the preseason, but still they are a few years away. I feel it’ll come down to Denver and San Diego, and you just don’t know how Phillip Rivers will do, but Denver has a new QB to, Jay Cutler who has shown some promise. I like Denver, to win division, but feel both team will make the division.
AFC Wild Card Teams
1) New England
2) San Diego
AFC Championship
Colts 24 VS Patriots 21
It’s finally Peyton’s year, will he be the next Dan Marino, no, I think this is his year. Why? They got the clutchest kicker in the history of the NFL from New England, Adam Venitari who will make a game winning kick. As you can recall last year the nearly had a miracle against Pittsburgh, but Mick Vanderjack couldn’t make a field goal in the closing seconds.
