A lot of people have heard of the gold mine that exists online many have come with their shovel to dig from the so called wealth that they’ve been told exist online. To their chagrin they find that it is not has easy at it seem. Many, in despair leave the scene after spending a lot of money and buying and reading the so called great books that can change their lives in few clicks they buy thinking their problems will be solved they find out that that they’ve fallen prey t another mouse trap.

The question then is that is possible to make money online? Are those ridiculous claim that we read on those beautifully designed web pages true? If it is true why have I not made money online? Why is it that I have spent a lot and have made little or nothing? Why is it taking me too long to make money online? If you have at one time or the other had this thought in your mind then this for you.

There are a lot of business model you can profit from online and I will bee mentioning a few of them which I have done and have made money from and I am sill doing. Before we talk of these models I will like to warn you of the following:

• Making money online is not a get rich quick scheme.

• You have to take it like a business and not like a hobby.

• You must keep learning until you get to know what works for you.

• Allow room for failure and growth.

• Understand that there is no single business that is fail proof.

• Lastly no that single system is a guarantee to make you rich.

What business models then can you profit from.

I will like to talk of these models I forms:

1. Working for money.

2. Selling product.

Working for money

Many people think it is very easy to make money online. While I will not totally refute the idea I will like to make it clear to you that you can make money online but it is not as easy as many of the so called gurus make it seem.

There are a lot of things you can do for money online.

1. Writing for Money: If you have a passion for writing you can turn that passion for money. This is usually in three steps which are

(I) Search for job.

(II) Bid for the job.

(III) Doing the job.

To get some job you need to go to where you can the jobs. Some the websites are Elance, Freelancer.com, Odesk, Lime exchange. Writingjobs.com among others after getting the job the next thing is to bid for job. When bidding you need to do it like a professional and not like someone just starting. Though your price might be lower at first to get customers. After getting a job, it will be god you build credibility. Make each job a masterpiece as people will come back to look for your services if you do excellent service. They will often refer you to their friends if you ask them.

2. Office Assistant. There are a lot of office assistant jobs online. Data processing, email, processing, live assistant and many others. The sites I mentioned above will do the same for you other sites are: www.filtertalent.com, www.ifreelance.com and so on.

3. Skilled jobs: If you have any skills like web design, graphic design or you are an illustrator. You can sell your service online at the sites I mentioned above. In most cases you have to bid for the job. You have to show them samples of your work to convince them that you can do the job. 3. SELLING ONLINE: Selling online is in two parts: You either sell your product or sell other people’s product(affiliate)

If you want you can create a product and sell it. To create a product you make a research on a need or get someone create a digital product either software or e-book. Another way is to get a resale right to an existing product. This product can be sold on Clickbank, 2checkout or e-junkie. There are a lot of free resources out there that can help you create product. Just Google it and you’ll get someone willing to give it to you free. Make sure whatever you want to sell is proven to be good else you’ll loose your credibility before people. Always make quality your watchword when doing anything.

Affiliate Marketing is one way people have made money. You sign up with an affiliate network. After signing up I’ll advise you go for organic traffic. You can use Hubpages to test and get result before investing in domain name and hosting. See how viable the niche is before investing. You can use Micro niche finder to find viable niche. To learn more you should sign up with forums like digital point and Warrior forum(Don’t be too involved with the forums or you’ll get sidetracked) I will advise learn a model that works and then apply it.
