Isn’t it amazing how “working at home” has become so popular? I laugh out loud just
about every time I see that phrase somewhere. Have people forgotten that we have always
worked at home? You don’t NEED to work outside of the house to make a good living. Society
has you believing that you do.
Nothing will make you financially secure except for good money managment skills! Your only
as wealthy as you think you are is what my parents always taught me. Keeping up with the
“John Doe’s” next door isn’t going to help you get to where you need to be.
Now, just so you don’t misunderstand what I’m saying…I work at home and I work outside of the
home. There is benefits and down-sides to each depending on each person. Everyone has a different
tolerance level for what they can handle.
I am a full-time mother. That’s a job right there and the government really doesn’t care any more…
neither do most neighbors. If you are with the “in” crowd of the neighborhood, with no finances, your
going to go bankrupt. Just be the best parent you can be by whatever means you have. There’s not
enough money in the world that can replace an “I Love You” from a child.
I also work a full-time job outside of the house. I am skilled in various fields. I am a press operator,
sales representative, collections rep, and a bindery supervisor. This gives me my regular paycheck.
Ya know, the one that pays the bills. I need the social interaction to keep my brain moving at the same
pace as society. I love my job only because it allows me as much fexibility as I need for my children. I
know so many peple get a job just to have a paycheck. That’s great if you like the added stress of probably
not liking it!
Now, I also market online. No, I don’t do MLM’s! Those will slaughter just about anyone unless you
have a big start-up cash flow. Don’t get me wrong here. Some people do very well. Just look at how
much online marketing there is now. People are staying home. Yet, some people like me, just get things
started and put it on auto pilot. I do it as a hobby just to learn computer skills.
I am NOT paying some outragious amount of money for college when I can do it myself! Everything you
need is online…if you have the time. Get yourself a website, sell what you want, attached an auto responder to it, and blog!
You can learn! You will be a success!
Just remember…there is many ways to work at home. Babysitting, run a day care, automotive,
bookkeeping, etc. Don’t get trapped into online marketing because it looks good. That’s how people
make their money!
Just be happy “working at home” no matter what it is your doing. That is the most important thing!
Happy Holidays
