Bookstores sell tons of calendars. Calendars are sold virtually everywhere, depending on where you live around the world. In some countries any decent supermarket will offer calendars at a “special price” in January.
For some calendars don’t work, so I will offer you a tip that has worked for me, and hopefully might also work for you. Good luck.
Calendars Never Around
Calendars never really worked for me. Calendars are either too small or too big, and you always forget them. If you have them in your briefcase, you’re out shopping and your calendar is never handy when you “bump” into that family member that wants to hear what you’re doing thursday next week.
Buy Yourself a PDA
I just got a secondhand Palm Zire 72 which even has a digital camera. The camera is, admittedly, only a 1.2 megapixel camera. But since the camera is just an extra added functionality, it’s not that important. Acquiring it for approx. 60$ (in Danish Krones: 300 + postage) was a good deal. I could have gotten a new one for 100 Euro, but was happy to cut costs in half to TEST whether an electronic calendar could work.
Good Results
I am happy to say that it IS working much better. Now I am up to date. I can keep track of appointments from BOTH my laptop and the PDA when I am out shopping, talking on the cell phone etc. It has worked wonders.
That is really what drove me to think YOU might also benefit from my bringing this tip forward. So I wish you good luck in better stress management – getting a similar PDA might be your best investment in all of 2007.
