Posh Birthday – The Crown Jewels

It’s well over a month since Victoria Beckham celebrated her 32nd birthday, the indigestion should have, by now, died down. According to one newspaper Posh and Becks were to eat “Japanese food cooked by top chefs who have been flown out from London’s restaurant Nobu.” It went on to describe the 11-course, 200-a-head menu “including seared salmon salad, lobster tails served in a martini glass, grilled sea bass, seared steak, exotic fruits and sorbets.” How very Japanese!

However, what seems to have stuck in some peoples throats is the 8million Bulgari (BVLGARI) necklace, an exact copy of the one Keira Knightley wore to the last Oscars. One seething comment from a Hollywood celebrity gossip board at the weekend read ” …..we don’t hear about any other hollywood celeb splashing or showing off to that extent, even the richest of them. The Beckhams have a lot to learn from Bill Gates who does not stop at giving away horrendous amounts of money to charity…”

Well my dear, in our books The Beckhams are not (yet!) Hollywood celebs and Bill Gates does not play football….although he might for charity!
