Prom Hair Styles
I know it is only January 2007, but before you know it Prom Season will be here. Prom is becoming almost like a wedding where pre-planning and scheduling must take place.
One thing that you must not forget is to plan your prom hair style. You can have the greatest looking dress, makeup, accessories… but if your hair doesn’t look good……well then, you are wasting an opportunity to shine.
Prom Hair Styles
Prom hair styles last year were for the most part long and straight or curly. Updos were not all that common.
This year we will see more updo hair styles at the prom. Updos can vary from the simple chignon or ponytail to more elaborate twists and details.
Some of the updos and long hair styles are very easy for you to create on your own. You may just have to practice a few times. But other styles, may require a visit to your stylist for professional help.
It may be a good idea to go for a trial run at your stylist several weeks before the prom. With a trial run, you can see how your hair is going to look with your dress, and also find out if the style is going to stay put for a whole evening of dancing.
For best results in your trial run, bring in photos of a few different hair styles that you like and explain to your stylist what you like, or don’t like about each one. Pay close attention to the face shape of the women in the photos.
Sometimes face shape is overlooked when selected a formal hair style. Your face shape has a very important role in whether your hair style will look good or not.
