Reducing Stress: A personal approach
Stress is a problem that many of experience but often ignore. By tackling the causes of stress we can improve our life and the life of everyone around us. Sounds That Soothe director Martin Mayer takes a look in the mirror and faces his stress demons.
We all suffer from stress and all have our own way of dealing with it. Much of the time we are making the best of the situation rather than facing head on the causes of stress in our lives. Running my own company, working long hours impacts heavily on my family life. I enjoy spending time with my family and find it frustrating juggling work during evenings and weekends.
To resolve the problem, I have promised myself and my family that I will reduce the impact that stress has on our lives. To do this I will be identifying the causes of my stress and removing the cause as best I can from our life.
